Weekly Specials

Mormors Café offers quiche on Wednesdays, salad or soup specials on Thursdays and celebrate special Swedish holidays and food days.

Wednesday, April 29: Tomato Quiche
Wednesday, May 6: Tacopaj. 
Thursday, May 7: Vegan corn soup with crispy chickpea topping 
Wednesday, May 13: Rustic potato quiche
Thursday, May 14: Potato and almond soup 
Wednesday, May 20: Spring quiche with blue cheese, asparagus and chives
Thursday, May 21: Red lentil soup with coconut cream and tomato
Wednesday, May 27: Sharp cheese quiche
Thursday, May 28: Cauliflower soup with cheese crisps 
Friday, May 29: Dinner - Prune stuffed meat dumplings in a port wine sauce, served with celery root and potato mash, quick pickled cucumber and wine jelly (reservations can be made in the calendar)

Swedish Food Days

Swedish food days have their origins in Christian traditions and the rules surrounding fasting. Over time, various Swedish foods and pastries earned their own dedicated days in the calendar, set aside for appreciation and celebration. The Café will have specials on the days listed below.

April 30 - Valpurgis Day: Swedish Hot Dog in a bun with mashed potatoes

Online Orders

You can now make online orders for pick up at Mormors Café.

Please allow at least two days for any order to be processed and ready. The order is not final until you have received two confirmation emails from the Café. The first one is an automatic one where you can see what you have ordered and the second one will confirm the pick up time you have chosen.

Teen Café

The Café is open for teens some Wednesdays between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m.
Board games and activities, homework and a place to hang out.

Hosting an Event at the Museum?

Did you know that you can order coffee and tea for in building events?
One carafe of coffee is $25, this price includes cups and everything needed.
Price for hot water and cups is $5 and customer brings their own tea bags.
