Lucia application all ages

Anyone aged 5 - 24 can take part in Chicago's Lucia procession. Only girls aged 16 - 24 can be crowned Chicago's Lucia.

We welcome people to sign up for this year's Lucia procession. This year the crowning will take place at the Museum for families only We will then head up to Andersonville for a procession up Clark street and an outdoor performance by the Christmas tree. We end the day at Ebenezer Lutheran Church. This year tickets will not be required for the church unless there is a sudden surge in Covid numbers. Note that for the outdoor concert it is preferable that the coats are either white or warm clothes are worn under the gown (weather permitting. Obviously if it is too cold we wear what we need to stay warm). Gowns are supposed to reach the ground (or close to). If you have a gown and it is too short you can add a hem or borrow one from the Museum.
