The Swedish American Museum is hosting a Swedish Folk Painting contest. You can submit your best Folk painting via email to (pyates@samac.org) together with a title of the artwork. Master folk artists Alison Aune, Pieper Bloomquist, and Åse Larsjos will judge the entries and the winner gets to be displayed in the exhibit “Swedish Folk Painting: Tradition and Change” on display in the Main Gallery Sept. 9 – Nov. 27, 2022. This competition is for adults only and you can only submit your own original artwork.
