During the Andersonville Arts Weekend, the Museum will feature Swedish-American photographer Allen Wheatcroft. Allen Wheatcroft is a largely self-taught Chicago-based street and documentary photographer with a long career in publishing and an academic background in the social sciences. Over three decades, he has built a considerable body of documentary and street images in a number of long-running projects. He published his first book, Body Language, a selection of street photographs from a number of cities in the United States and Europe, in spring 2020 with Damiani.

This event, hosted by the Andersonville Chamber of Commerce, showcases and celebrates Andersonville’s strong connection to art of all forms within our thriving business district.
