We offer a number of guided tours of the Museum.
Docent-led group tours of The Dream of America: Swedish Immigration to Chicago exhibit are held once a month. These tours are best for people aged 12 and up and focus on the immigration from Sweden to Chicago. For dates please check our calendar. This tour is free with admission.
Docent-led Family Tours are also held once a month. The tour follow the CPS immigration curriculum and is the same tour that we offer for school groups. The tour focuses on immigration to the USA in general with Sweden used as an example. The tour is aimed at the whole family and best suited for people aged 6 and up. This is a family tour so parents need to stay with their children at all times. For dates please check our calendar. This tour is free with admission.
It is possible to schedule a private group tour. These guided tours must be pre-scheduled to ensure the availability of a docent to guide your group.
