Movie Night

April 5, 2018 @ 6:00 pm

Swedish movies have been prominent internationally since the early 1900’s largely due to Greta Garbo. Since then the industry has produced many great names including Ingmar Bergman, Britt Ekland, the Skarsgård family, Peter Stormare and Noomi Rapase. Every year a couple of Swedish films make it to the cinemas in the US, but there are so many great ones that don’t make it across the Atlantic. Now you will have the opportunity to watch some of these here at the Museum.

Swedish movie nights are back on the first Thursday of the month at 6 p.m. Sandwiches will be available for purchase.

Maria Wern – Dreams from Snow
It’s Christmastime when Gotland is struck by unspeakable tragedy – a high-school girl is found dead in the middle of a country road wearing a white Lucia gown. What appears to be suicide becomes more sinister when Maria and her colleagues find e-mails indicating that the high school is a hotbed of conflict, rivalry and extortion.
