Cream Demonstration and Salt Tasting

November 9 @ 6:30 pm

If you are looking for some more creative holiday gifts or just interested in learning how to make your own organic hand and face cream here is the demonstration for you. You will learn how to make your own Marigold (Calendula) cream. Calendula is believed to have anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties. This is followed by a salt tasting provided by Wanderlust Sea Salt’s. Their infused sea salts and sea salt blends use a unique brand of sea salt flakes that is harvested from cold pure seawater from Saltsteinsleia in the Norwegian Sea by North Sea Salt Works. It is the mineral content of the cold and clean seawater that makes the crystalline white flakes flat and soft with a light crunchy feeling. The salt has a concentrated salty but clean taste without bitterness arising from the naturally occurring trace minerals. Cost is $10 and all participants will receive a sample of Marigold cream.
